Winter Talent Showcase Collaboration
Jason Patz & Spring44
Welcome to Winter Talent Showcase Week! Each day this week, we will be highlighting our bar collaborations that we have showcasing their cocktails and spirits. Check back all week for updates up to the night of the event on December 3rd.
Jason Patz, expert barman and namesake to the Williams & Graham Empire has been selected by Spring44 out of Loveland to collaborate on cocktails for the evening. After speaking with Jason, he seems to be very appreciative to represent the distillery and excited to pour their spirits. Rob Masters who serves as Spring44’s Chief Ethanol Savant feels that Jason’s style behind the bar will best reflect their vision of enjoyment through his cocktails.
Through their collaboration, it has been decided that they will be calling for two of the distillery’s three spirits- their Honey Vodka as well as their Gin.
Spring44’s Honey Vodka has been reviewed as “Not too annoyingly flavored” by renowned random guy at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival [not kidding] and has also earned a 91-point rating by The Tasting Panel Magazine.
Their Gin, also familiar to high remarks has been reviewed to not “Kick your ass so much in the mouth” by an anonymous Denver bartender [seriously]. Both spirits, they are excited to be pouring for our friends and visitors to the Winter Talent Showcase; they feel that they are going to be bringing some awesome cocktails.
Spring44 produces its spirits out of a facility in Loveland, Colorado with water sourced from a spring that runs through their family owned property in the northern Colorado Rocky Mountains. At 9,0[44] feet, their water is claimed to provide a visceral connection to nature by the energy you feel when consumed. They utilize this spiritual and nature-enhanced water to produce each of their three spirits: Vodka, Gin, and Sweet Honey Vodka. They welcome visitors on Fridays and Saturdays when their tasting room is open for cocktails, tastings, and tours of the facility. Visit their website to contact their team about events or inquiries. You can see Jason regularly behind the bar at Williams & Graham, which sits in the Lower Highlands neighborhood [incase you haven’t been there by now].
